Tipple Forever Deposit Transfer Policy

Can't go? Your £99 can.

Our £99 per person deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel. As a Tipple Tours benefit, you may be able to transfer it instead. This policy explains two different things: (A) transferring your deposit credit, which is a voluntary benefit we offer, and (B) transferring an existing package booking to another person, which is a separate legal right.

A. Transfer of Unused Deposit Credit

This is a voluntary Tipple Tours benefit. It allows you to move eligible £99 deposit credit to another Tipple Tours adventure, or pass it to another person.

  • What can be transferred: the £99 per person deposit only. Any instalments or balance payments already made follow our normal cancellation terms.
  • Eligible adventures: another scheduled Tipple Tours-operated departure, subject to availability. Third-party partner tours are not included unless stated.
  • Notice: requests must be made at least 8 weeks before your original departure date, before cancellation charges beyond the deposit apply.
  • Number of transfers: one free transfer per deposit.
  • Cost: the transfer is free. If the new adventure costs more, you pay the difference under that tour's normal payment terms.
  • Validity: your deposit credit never expires. Use it on any future eligible Tipple Tours departure, whenever you're ready.
  • Transfer to another person: give us the recipient's name and email. They then book their own place using the credit and accept our booking terms.
  • Approval: every request is reviewed by our team. Nothing changes on your booking or payments until we confirm the transfer.

B. Transfer of an Existing Package Booking

This is separate from the deposit benefit above. Under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, you have the right to transfer your package holiday contract to another person who satisfies all the conditions applicable to that contract, provided you give us reasonable notice before departure (at least 7 days).

You and the person taking your place are jointly responsible for any balance due and for any reasonable additional costs that arise from the transfer, such as name-change fees charged by suppliers. We will tell you what these costs are and provide evidence of them. Nothing in Section A limits these statutory rights.

How to Request a Transfer

Open your booking from your confirmation email (My Booking) and tap Request a Transfer, or contact us. We'll review it and confirm the outcome by email.
