Small group of friends enjoying a wine tasting outdoors

Tipple Tours Partnerships

You Bring the People. We'll Bring the Adventure.

Got clients who are bored of ordinary holidays? A wine club that needs to get out more? A group of friends who fancy something spectacularly different?

We work with travel agents, homeworkers, clubs and group organisers to create extraordinary wine, beer and cultural adventures.

From Georgian vineyards to Moldova's underground wine cities, we specialise in the places other tour companies occasionally struggle to spell.

Got People? We've Got Places.

No office full of brochures or laminated badge required. Just an audience that loves discovering somewhere different.

Independent Travel Agents

You sell travel for a living. Offer clients something beyond the beach with our scheduled small-group departures.

Usually: selling existing departures

Travel Homeworkers

Self-employed and building your own portfolio? Add distinctive escorted adventures your customers won't find in every brochure.

Usually: selling existing departures

Clubs, Societies & Associations

Wine clubs, social clubs and alumni groups: take the monthly meet-up somewhere considerably more exciting than the village hall.

Usually: a private group

Group Organisers & Community Leaders

Got a remarkable talent for persuading people to come along, or an audience who share a passion? Let's build something around them.

Usually: a private or hosted adventure

The main event

Three Ways to Partner. Zero Boring Holidays.

Pick the route that fits your business. Plenty of partners use more than one.

Option 1 · Sell Our Existing Departures

Your Clients. Our Departures. Everybody Happy.

Introduce customers to scheduled Tipple Tours adventures with published itineraries and dates. They join a sociable small group; we handle the rest.

Who runs it: Operated by Tipple Tours. Departures are only guaranteed where the specific tour and date says so.

Who the customer pays: The customer books and pays Tipple Tours directly, unless a separate written agency agreement applies.

Option 2 · Organise a Private Group

Your Group. Your Dates. Your Very Own Adventure.

We create a private departure around your group's destination, dates and interests, with excellent drinks and just the right amount of organised chaos.

Who runs it: Privately arranged by Tipple Tours for your group, once numbers, dates and suppliers are confirmed.

Who the customer pays: Each traveller books and pays Tipple Tours directly.

Option 3 · Host a Branded Adventure

Put Your Name on Something Brilliant.

An exclusive trip promoted to your own audience, potentially co-branded and with you along as host.

For example: The Cambridge Wine Club Goes Georgian

Who runs it: Privately arranged by Tipple Tours. You promote it using agreed materials.

Who the customer pays: Travellers book and pay Tipple Tours directly. You never take payment on our behalf.

Why Partner With Tipple Tours?

Because Your Customers Have Seen Enough Infinity Pools.

Some travellers want more than a sunlounger, a buffet and a daily argument over the towels. They want stories, strange places and brilliant drinks.

Unusual Destinations

Countries and regions that rarely appear in mainstream brochures, so your clients come home with stories nobody else has.

Small Groups, Big Personalities

Sociable small groups, genuine connections and no endless coach-loads.

Proper Drinks Expertise

We grew out of The Smiling Grape Company, an award-winning independent wine merchant.

Guaranteed Departures on Selected Tours

Where a departure is 100% guaranteed to run, it's clearly shown on that specific tour and date.

Let's Talk Business. Preferably Over Something Nice.

Every partnership is different, so commercial arrangements are tailored and always agreed in writing.

What we can discuss

  • Agent commission on eligible bookings, for approved agents
  • Organiser rewards such as a discount or complimentary place, where group size and tour costs allow
  • Tailored private group pricing with clear inclusions
  • Repeat or annual departures for established communities

No published rates, automatic free places, guaranteed earnings or booking volumes.

Who does what

Referral

You introduce customers. They book and pay Tipple Tours directly.

Agency

An approved agent sells under a written agency agreement, which sets out who contracts with the traveller and who collects payment.

Group organiser

You gather a group for a private or hosted departure. Travellers pay Tipple Tours directly; any organiser reward is agreed in writing first.

Every written agreement names who contracts with the traveller, collects payment and fulfils the travel arrangements. Partners may not sell or package travel under Tipple Tours' arrangements without one.

Four Steps to Something Spectacularly Different.

  1. Step 1

    Say Hello

Tell us about your business, club or community and what your customers enjoy.

  2. Step 2

    Find Your Adventure

Pick an existing departure, request a private group or discuss something bespoke.

  3. Step 3

    Agree the Details

We agree pricing, commercial terms, booking responsibilities and promotional support in writing.

  4. Step 4

    Spread the Word

Introduce your customers to the adventure using the agreed booking and marketing arrangements.

We'll Help You Sell It. You Supply the Enthusiasm.

Approved partners may be able to access:

  • Tour descriptions, itineraries and FAQs
  • Destination photographs
  • Suggested email and social media copy
  • Co-branded materials and group proposals
  • Help with customer questions

Materials and branding are subject to agreement.

Let's Make Some Travel Magic. And Maybe Some Business.

Tell us a little about yourself and your customers. No lengthy applications, no mysterious membership rituals and absolutely no obligation to wear a company tie.

What are you interested in? (choose any)

Questions? Excellent. We Like Curious People.

Can travel agents and homeworkers sell Tipple Tours adventures?

Yes. Independent agents and self-employed homeworkers are welcome to enquire. We'll discuss how a partnership could work, and agree the arrangements in writing before any selling begins.

Is there an agent commission scheme?

Commission is discussed case by case for approved agents and eligible bookings. We don't publish fixed rates; any commission is agreed in writing before you promote our tours.

Who takes the customer's booking and payment?

For Tipple Tours-operated adventures, customers book and pay Tipple Tours directly, unless a separate written agency agreement has been approved. Partners may not sell or package travel under Tipple Tours' arrangements without a valid written agreement.

Are departures guaranteed?

Only where stated. Some scheduled departures are 100% guaranteed to run and this is shown on the specific tour and date. Private and hosted trips go ahead once numbers, dates and suppliers are confirmed.

Do I need a minimum number of travellers?

There's no single minimum. It depends on the destination, the type of trip and its costs. Tell us roughly how many people you have in mind and we'll say what's possible.

Do group organisers get discounted or free places?

Sometimes. Depending on group size and tour costs, an organiser may qualify for an agreed discount, complimentary place or other incentive. Nothing is automatic and any reward is agreed in writing.

Can we create a co-branded adventure?

Yes, it can be discussed. Branding, promotional materials and any use of logos are agreed with you in writing before anything is published.

Can we arrange a video call?

Of course. Send us an enquiry and we'll email you to arrange a call at a time that suits you.
