Financial Protection

Your Adventure Is Wild. Your Money Isn't.

We take you to underground wine cities, flaming desert craters and pubs with questionable karaoke. What we don't do is take chances with your money.

Who Protected Trust Services Is

Protected Trust Services (PTS) provides financial protection for travel companies and their customers through trust account arrangements. Tipple Tours Ltd is a PTS member, membership number 6591. Membership means we work within PTS's rules for handling customers' money on eligible bookings.

How the Trust Account Works

For eligible bookings, money you pay is held in a trust account rather than being treated as ours to spend straight away. It is released under the trust's rules, typically once your holiday has taken place or as suppliers need to be paid. If a member company fails before your holiday, the money held in trust is there to refund customers whose eligible bookings are affected, or to help their holiday go ahead.

Which Bookings Are Eligible

Protection applies to eligible package holidays booked and paid for with Tipple Tours Ltd under the applicable PTS arrangements. Not every booking is automatically covered. In particular:

  • Our multi-day small-group tours are package holidays and are eligible.
  • Day tours, tastings and single experiences are not package holidays and are not covered by this protection.
  • Bookings contracted with a different company, or holidays operated by partners, are covered by that company's own arrangements, if any.
  • Items you arrange yourself, such as your own flights or travel insurance, are not included.
  • We do not hold an ATOL. Flights are not part of our packages unless your booking confirmation says otherwise.

Full details of the protection that applies to your booking are provided before you pay and confirmed in your booking confirmation.
