Tipple Tours Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Contract
When you make a booking with Tipple Tours, a contract is formed between you and Tipple Tours once your booking is confirmed and any required deposit has been received.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on a tour.
- The deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking.
- By making a booking, the guest acknowledges that the deposit is non-refundable except where the tour is cancelled by Tipple Tours.
- The remaining balance must be paid by the date specified at the time of booking.
- If payment is not received by the due date, Tipple Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain any deposit paid.
3. Cancellation by the Guest
If a guest cancels a booking, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
- More than 60 days before departure:
Loss of non-refundable deposit. - 31 to 60 days before departure:
50% of the total tour price. - 30 days or less before departure:
100% of the total tour price.
No refunds will be given for unused services, voluntary withdrawal from a tour, late arrival or early departure.
Tipple Tours strongly recommends that guests obtain suitable travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
4. Cancellation by Tipple Tours
Tipple Tours reserves the right to cancel or amend any tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Political instability
- Civil unrest
- Pandemics
- Transport disruption
- Supplier failure
- Insufficient participant numbers
Where a tour is cancelled by Tipple Tours, guests will be offered an alternative departure, credit note or refund of monies paid for the affected tour.
Tipple Tours shall not be responsible for consequential losses such as flights, visas, insurance or other independently booked arrangements.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests and may be mandatory for certain tours.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate cover for cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation, personal belongings and personal liability.
6. Health and Fitness
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in the tour booked.
Any medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements or mobility issues that may affect participation should be disclosed prior to departure.
Tipple Tours reserves the right to refuse participation where safety concerns arise.
7. Alcohol Consumption
Many Tipple Tours experiences involve visits to breweries, wineries, distilleries and drinking establishments.
Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol responsibly and in accordance with local laws.
Tipple Tours reserves the right to remove any guest whose behaviour is dangerous, disruptive, abusive, illegal or likely to negatively affect the experience of others.
No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
8. Guest Conduct
Guests agree to behave responsibly and respectfully throughout the tour.
Guests shall comply with local laws, venue rules, safety instructions and reasonable requests from tour leaders, guides and suppliers.
Tipple Tours reserves the right to remove guests from a tour where their conduct presents a risk to themselves, other participants, suppliers or members of the public.
9. Suppliers, Safety and Insurance
Tipple Tours works with a range of independent accommodation providers, wineries, breweries, restaurants, transport providers, guides and activity operators ("Suppliers").
All Suppliers are independent contractors and are not employees, agents or representatives of Tipple Tours.
Tipple Tours seeks to work with reputable Suppliers that maintain any licences, permits and insurance required by applicable law.
Where appropriate, Tipple Tours may request evidence of Public Liability Insurance, licences or other regulatory documentation from Suppliers as part of its supplier selection and review process.
Guests acknowledge that travel and tourism activities may involve inherent risks.
Guests agree to follow all safety instructions issued by Tipple Tours and its Suppliers.
10. Limitation of Liability
Tipple Tours shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, delay, inconvenience, expense or damage resulting from:
- Acts or omissions of independent Suppliers
- Acts of God
- Natural disasters
- War, terrorism or civil unrest
- Government action
- Border restrictions
- Transport disruption
- Industrial disputes
- Guest negligence
- Guest failure to follow instructions
Tipple Tours' total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the guest for the tour, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas and any documentation required for travel.
Tipple Tours accepts no responsibility for denied entry, deportation or travel disruption resulting from a guest's failure to comply with entry requirements.
12. Photography and Marketing
Tipple Tours may take photographs and video during tours for promotional purposes.
Guests who do not wish to appear in marketing material should notify Tipple Tours in writing before the tour commences.
13. Force Majeure
Tipple Tours shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, transport disruption, war, terrorism or civil unrest.
14. Complaints
Any issues arising during a tour should be raised immediately with the tour leader so that reasonable efforts can be made to resolve them.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing within 28 days of the end of the tour.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
