Small print. Big pours.
1. Definitions
- "Company" refers to Tipple Tours Ltd (that's us).
- "Client" refers to the person booking and everyone tagging along.
- "Tour" refers to any experience, adventure, crawl or slightly questionable decision sold by the Company.
2. Contract Formation
A contract is formed when:
- We send you confirmation and
- You send us money (deposit or full payment — we're not picky)
Everything you've read on our website or heard from us before booking forms part of the agreement. Yes, even the fun bits.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are per person unless we say otherwise
- A non-refundable deposit secures your spot
- Full balance is due 4 weeks before departure
- If we accidentally price a tour like it's 1998, we reserve the right to fix it
4. Minimum Numbers
We like our groups small but not that small.
Tours require a minimum number of participants. If we don't hit that number, we may cancel or reschedule — but we'll offer you a full refund or alternative.
5. Client Cancellations
Life happens. Hangovers happen. Plans change.
Refunds are as follows:
- Deposit: Non-refundable (we warned you 😏)
- 100+ days before departure: 100% refund
- 60–89 days: 60% refund
- 30–59 days: 40% refund
- Less than 29 days: 0% refund
No-shows or early exits are non-refundable.
6. Changes to Itinerary
Our tours are flexible by design — that's where the magic happens.
We may adjust routes, stops, accommodation or activities due to:
- local conditions
- availability
- weather
- things simply not going to plan
We'll always aim to keep things equally (or more) enjoyable.
7. Inclusions & Exclusions
If it's not listed in your booking confirmation, assume it's not included.
Not included:
- flights
- insurance
- visas
- personal spending
- "just one more drink"
8. Force Majeure
If the world decides to throw chaos into the mix (weather, politics, pandemics, etc.), we can't be held responsible.
We'll always do our best — but sometimes the world has other plans.
9. Travel Insurance
Get it. Seriously.
You are responsible for having adequate insurance covering medical issues, cancellations and belongings.
10. Health & Dietary Requirements
Tell us in advance about:
- allergies
- dietary needs
- medical conditions
We'll do our best but when eating in local homes or off-the-beaten-path spots, we can't guarantee perfection.
11. Conduct & Behaviour
Be a good human.
We reserve the right to remove anyone who:
- is a risk to themselves or others
- disrupts the group
- breaks local laws
No refunds if you're asked to leave.
12. Alcohol Disclaimer
You're responsible for what you drink.
We provide the experience — not your tolerance level.
We accept no liability for:
- overindulgence
- poor decisions
- stories you may regret the next day
13. Third-Party Services
We work with brilliant local partners — drivers, wineries, hosts and more.
But they are independent businesses, so we're not liable for their actions or mishaps.
14. Liability
Adventure comes with a little risk — that's part of the fun.
By joining, you accept that.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the Tour and we're not responsible for:
- injuries (unless required by law)
- lost or damaged belongings
- delays or disruptions outside our control
15. Photography & Media
We love capturing the moments.
Photos and videos may be used for marketing. If you'd prefer to stay out of the spotlight, just let us know before the tour.
16. Travel Documents & Entry Requirements
You're responsible for:
- passports
- visas
- entry rules
If you get turned away at a border, we can't fix that one.
17. Complaints
If something's wrong, tell us on the tour — we'll try to fix it.
If needed, follow up in writing within 14 days after the tour.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
